Community-Led Solutions: NGOs and local groups are building rainwater harvesting systems, solar-powered pumps, and filtration units tailored to rural needs.
Africa Water Vision 2025: This continental framework promotes equitable and sustainable water use for socioeconomic development, but progress remains uneven.
Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM): Africa is investing in coordinated water governance, linking water access to disaster risk reduction and climate resilience.
How We Solve This Project
-Support organizations like CHEN that build clean water systems for the rural poor.
-Fund solar pumps, gravity-fed systems, and hygiene education.
-Advocate for long-term investment in water infrastructure and climate adaptation.
Join the community to give education for the childrens and together make them educated for their lives.
Limited Infrastructure:
Many rural communities rely on unsafe sources like rivers, ponds, or broken boreholes. Systems are often outdated or poorly maintained.
Water Scarcity:
Countries like Ethiopia, Kenya, and Mozambique face extreme shortages. In Kenya, only about 57% of the population has access to safe drinking water. -
Funding Gaps:
Many governments lack the resources to build or maintain water infrastructure. International aid is often fragmented or short-term.
